Upon completion, if you've decided to have us oversee the project you will receive a CD with before and after pictures for you to see the dramatic design transition. The after pictures are suitable
for posting on the
web or for supplying
to your realtor.
What Should You Expect From the Staging Process?
The staging process begins with a complete home evaluation. We provide you with a comprehensive room-by-room evaluation of what it will take to make your home
appeal to the largest pool of potential buyers. Next, you receive a bound report with detailed recommendations and “before” pictures for each room.
You can take the list and complete the work yourself or contract with Smart Staging
to all or portions of the work. (see the Home Evaluation tab)
The Smart Staging Home Stylists will handle many of the items on any Home Evaluation
list such as home organization, editing and helping you pack precious collections. When
it is prudent to use a sub-contractor we employ only licensed contractors that have been thoroughly vetted.
You will be provided with a written estimate of costs for all services. Any changes will
be discussed with you and receive your approval before we proceed.
From time to time we will need to purchase accessories and specific furnishings to augment your existing items.

Vacant Homes
Buyers have a difficult time with space planning and depth perception in an empty room. Most cannot effectively visualize their furniture in the room to decide if the room is large enough. Surprisingly, vacant rooms look smaller.
Smart Staging has solutions for every budget. When possible, we can rent furnishings so the home shows at its best. Another solution is to style vignettes in each room that will create a focal point and create a perception of the room's use.
